RIO – PRACTICAL HEATED HOSE WITH INTEGRATED ADHESIVE FILTER

Rio is a practical EasyLine heated hose: with plug coupling and integrated adhesive filter. The filter can be changed quickly and easily on the heated hose. Unlike in other systems, disassembling the application head is not required. Residues cannot enter the application head . The fully insulated plug coupling is connected to the EasyLine application head without tools and can be rotated for positioning – a welcome feature for space-saving integration into the machine.

TIME-SAVING MAINTENANCE – INCREASED AVAILABILITY

Rio combines tried-and-tested Enduro hose technology with new, beneficial features. The innovative plug coupling of the heated hose houses the adhesive filter and thus enables the compact design of the Twist application head.

The fully insulated plug coupling can be detached from the application head without tools. Filter maintenance can be carried out conveniently on the heated hose without special tools. This prevents maintenance-related residues from entering the application head – a good prerequisite for maintaining the service life of the application head and preventing unplanned downtimes.  It also eliminates the time-consuming demounting and re-installation of the application head and subsequent readjustment.

RIO HEATED HOSE WITH EASY-TO-INSTALL FEATURES

Rio is straightforward and adaptable. When depressurized, the plug coupling can be rotated steplessly. This facilitates the optimal positioning of the heated hose and application head during installation in the machine. Depending on the installation position, the detached solenoid valve of the application head is fixed to one of the two magnetic plates of the plug coupling.  

Screwed connections at angles of 0°, 45° and 90° are available for the connection to the adhesive melter.

The top-end connection of the Rio heated hose facilitates optimal installation in the machine.

SAFE AND RELIABLE OPERATION

The fully insulated plug coupling as well as the optional ConnectorCover insulate the connections to the application head and the adhesive melter. They offer protection against burns and prevent unwanted thermal bridges. This allows the adhesive to be applied reliably as the adhesive viscosity remains constant at the joints.
