POWERFUL AND VERSATILE

Solid and compact, with an excellent performance balance: that's Alpha. This melter for thermoplastic adhesives achieves its power through a high melting rate. The rate lies at 8 kg/h or 12.5 kg/h, although the tank volume is comparably low at 4.1 or 6.8 liters. This melting capacity allows Alpha to perform numerous adhesive applications in a wide variety of industries, which makes the melter a true all-rounder. 

Equipped with all the necessary functions and designed to focus on the essentials, Alpha offers an attractive price/performance ratio. With its relatively small dimensions and the 45-degree connection surface for a maximum of three or six heated hoses, Alpha permits space-saving installation in existing or new systems.

MODERNIZATION MADE EASY

Alpha can do both: the melter facilitates the move to the next generation of devices as well as new installations. This is because > 99% system availability and high energy efficiency ensure sustainability and favorable operating costs. Compared to the Concept melter, Alpha achieves energy savings of 46%. In addition, heating hoses and application heads built from 2000 to today are compatible with Alpha. 

ALPHA – ALL-ROUND SAFETY

Alpha provides comprehensive touch protection through CoolTouch insulation on the FlexPort glue distributor and a silicone seal around the tank opening. The latter makes it easier to clean the tank opening, prevents the tank lid from sticking, and prevents the penetration of adhesive granules between the tank and melter's casing.

 

Alpha has a pleasantly large tank opening. Manual filling adhesive granules can therefore be done easily and cleanly.

Increased operator safety can be achieved with the automatic filling system RobaFeed 3 in combination with the granulate container GlueFill. The system is available as an option.

SMART OPERATION, EASY SYSTEM INTEGRATION

Alpha operates with the Robatech Control System (RCS). The integrated control platform simplifies system integration and greatly simplifies the adhesive melter operation for OEMs and users. 

  • Convenient setting of basic functions on the Smart Terminal. The LED status display shows the current operating status at all times. 
  • Simple operation and diagnostics via the melter’s own wireless access point or Ethernet.
  • Access the operating manual, export data, and much more
  • Uniform, browser-independent RobaVis user interface on smartphone, tablet, PC, host system, or optional external device with touch display.  
  • Standardized interfaces for seamless integration into third-party systems via Ethernet or various fieldbus systems.

Another advantage of the Robatech Control System: All functions dealing with adhesive application and process reliability are already integrated into the software and can be activated individually. This guarantees optimized performance within the respective budget.
