Drupa 2024 trade fair review

„Fold it. Glue it. Love it.” Eleven eventful trade fair days lie behind us. We would like to thank all visitors for their great interest in our system solutions for folding and gluing and look back together.

FOLD IT. GLUE IT. LOVE IT.

True to the motto “Fold it. Glue it. Love it.”, our focus at drupa was on perfect folding and gluing. The PerfectFold liquid creaser was met with enthusiastic reactions at our trade fair booth. Visitors were able to experience for themselves what it means to fold corrugated cardboard creased with the SpeedUp creaser liquid.

PerfectFold applies the SpeedUp creaser liquid to the corrugated cardboard – similar to an adhesive application system – allowing it to be folded very precisely and without great effort.

The Vivo 18 coating head ensures convenience in e-commerce. At speeds of up to 250 m/min, it applies the PSA hot melt adhesive so evenly and precisely that tear strips and silicone release liners can be glued to the shipping packaging quickly and cost-effectively.

The Presto cold glue coating head is becoming increasingly important as part of the so-called paperization trend. Many packaging manufacturers are replacing plastic or plasticized materials with paper. And cold glue is an adhesive that penetrates paper and is heat-resistant. The excellent application quality of the Presto electric coating head, in turn, is ideal for applications such as gluing paper carrier bags or paper drinking straws.
